35-year-old Ortiz admitted helping to choose the rich victim to kidnappers, according to Jorge Domene, Government spokesman for the security of the State North of Nuevo Leon.
DOMENE said Ortiz worked with gang were responsible for at least 20 kidnappings.
The gang attempted an average of 1 million pesos ($ 73,000) per victim, the Ortiz received a piece of more than 100,000 pesos, Nuevo Leon, the Government said.
