Residents of Ontario increasingly see the contract first hospital CEO, reveals a wide range of benefits and retirement packages that include offers luxury car hire, golf club memberships and even free plastic surgery.
The hospital website posted contracts for some of the top earners in charge of the province of 150 hospitals on Tuesday, as part of the freedom of information disclosure that came into effect on new year’s day.
Tom Closson, President and CEO of the Ontario Hospital Association, said the decision was made to release the contracts online by Tuesday “instead of waiting for a request to come in one at a time or hospitals by the hospital.”
While executive salaries that more hospitals earn $ 100,000 per year has been expressed since 1996 through Ontario called “sunshine list”, it was not until now that full details of their contract has been made available.
The contract provides a window into the world of high-powered Executive health.
